Adventure To The Zoo

While we were in Tacoma we celebrated sweet Victor's 6th birthday a little early. We decided to head to Tacoma's Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.


It was such a beautiful and warm sunny day. I think everyone in the city of Tacoma had the same idea.


It was the first time Trey has ever visited this zoo.

At one point we almost got attacked by two peacocks trying to mate.


The Zoo has this newer area called the Kid Zone. Of course it was hard to pull the boys away from this area.

Of course by the end Curtis and I were exhausted. The boys still had energy to go on for days. It was great day celebrating a special little boy's birthday. We love you Victor.

Fun At The Park With Grandma Karen

One of the days while we were in Tacoma Curtis was out recruiting and Mr. Victor was still at school so Grandma Karen, Trey and I headed to the park to enjoy some sun. Trey loved showing his Grandma how well he can climb, jump, etc.


His favorite thing...going down slides.


Trey enjoyed spending some one on one time with his Grandma Karen.

Dinner With Great-Grandparents:)

Trey and I joined Curtis who was already in Tacoma/Seattle area recruiting on Wed. During our visit Trey and I were able to spend sometime with my grandparents and go out to dinner with them. My Auntie Nancy and Uncle John were also able to join us.

Trey was his usual entertaining self through dinner. It means so much to me that he gets to know his great-grandparents. I was fortunate to build a relationship with mine and it means the world to me that he also has been given that same opportunity.



This just melts my heart:)

Going Fishing:)

I bought Trey this cute little fishing pole and fish in hopes that we would have nice weather so he could play with them outside. But since that hasn't been the case the fish made their first appearance in the Allen Family bathtub.
