Dessert at Grandma Betty's and Grandpa Mike's

A couple weeks ago our sweet neighbor's in our old neighborhood invited us over for dessert. Mike and Betty lived across the street from us before we moved to our new home. They were so good to us while we were there. Betty used to always bring over yummy goodies and was so sweet to help me all the time when Trey had his tube in his nose and we use to have to re tape. Mike was so helpful when Curtis was gone if I had questions about the house, etc. We miss seeing them everyday but it's special treat now to get together.

Trey's buddy Shay and her parents Mike and Colleen who also lived across the street joined us. Curtis missed out on the evening because he was out of town recruiting :(

It was so fun to watch Trey and Shay together. They are slowly starting to interact now. They were quite the entertainment for the evening. Here are some pictures from the evening...

Adorable Shay

Shay- "Well are you going to share Trey??"

Shay- "I am out of here" :)

Trey- "Wait Shay don't go!!"

"Hurray she is staying!!!"

Little cuties

Trey- "Would you like to get some dessert together??"

Delicious

Betty had these cute little cups that look liked ice cream cones for the kiddos. They were a huge hit.

Hug to end a wonderful evening:)

Cougs Basketball:)

This week the Cougs faced the Arizona schools at home. We were victorious against Arizona State but lost a heat breaker to the University of Arizona by 2 points.

Of course the ever encouraging student section was there to cheer on the team.

Some of the students made poster faces of some of the players. They were hilarious.

They both were exciting games to watch.

Of course I had to do a little photo shoot before one of the games.

Trey got a Tee Ball set for Christmas. We are anxious for warm weather to come our way so we can use it outside.

Lets Go Cougs!!!

A couple of weeks ago the Cougs played University of Oregon and added another victory to this season.

Butch always getting the crowd going.

He still hasn't made his way over to us. Not sure what Trey would think of him up close.

Game Time!!!

During halftime there was a cute match up with elementary school kids. They were pretty rough out there.

Trey and Mommy:)

Celebration back at home.

We have some tough competition this week so hopefully we will get it done. Go Cougs!!!

Auntie Cat Comes To Visit:)

The last friend I was able to get together with during our trip was my best friend and Trey's Auntie Cat. We talk everyday but it is extra special when I get to see her. Cat and I met in college and have stayed close every since. She was my amazing maid of honor in my wedding. I couldn't have survived all the wedding festivities without her. We always tease each other that since we loved planning together and both are super organized we should become wedding planners and start our own business.

I know lately I have been posting a lot of old pictures but I can't help it I love them. We have way too many pictures together but here a few of my favorites...

Cat and I went out to dinner and had a blast. This girl can ALWAYS make me laugh. We are quite the pair. Afterwards she came back to my parents to see Trey. He was lucky to get some special presents from his Auntie.

Thank you Auntie Cat!!!

Being a gentleman and helping her to the door.

We love our Cat:)

Mommy's Now:)

During my visit in Tacoma I was able to get together with a good friend of mine from high school. I haven't seen her since graduation so it was great to reconnect after all these years. She has a little girl who is absolutely adorable. Trey had so much fun with Miss Lyric.

It was a great evening!!!

Thankful!!!

As we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. today I am so thankful for this man's dream, courage, faith and dedication. If it wasn't for him I might not be married to my soul mate today.
