Oh my goodness I can't believe Noah is going to be one in a week or so. I don't know if the craziness of 2 kids makes life go quicker but these 11 months have flown by. My little cuddly Noah is no longer a baby.
Here is a video I put together since I have done a terrible job updating with pictures and blog posts. CLICK ON LINK BELOW.
Copy of Noah growing up (8,9,10 & 11 months) #2
Well here is what the little rascal is up to these days....
Sleep
A couple months ago I was beyond sleep deprived between Noah's frequent nighttime awakenings and Trey's nighttime tube feedings. Something had to give. A girlfriend recommended this book.
I have to say it works! I highly highly recommend it. But lately Mr. Noah has been experiencing some major teething pain. So sleep and mood has not come easy for us lately. Hopefully the uncomfortableness he is feeling will soon pass.
Noah still takes 2 naps a day which is wonderful. I have timed the boys afternoon naps just right so I can get a little shut eye too.

Eating
I don't know how exactly to comment on this topic. Some days are great and others he seems beyond picky. Which seems more often than not. Of course my panic button turns on. It's hard because I don't have anything to compare normal eating habits to. But I do know he is Mr. Independent in the highchair. I am hoping his weight and height will be on track at his 1 year appointment and I am just being overly concerned.

Verbal
Well as you saw on the video there is nothing quiet about Noah. You know when everything is silent the little rascal is up to something he shouldn't be. He doesn't label Curtis or I directly yet but he does say Mama and Dada. He screams in delight, anger, or sadness. He has NO problem expressing his feelings to the world.
We have started to do some sign language with him. He has the "more" sign down. We are still mastering the others.
Development / Play
This is such a fun age to experience with Noah. It seems like everyday there is something new he is learning. I guess the biggest milestone has been walking. Noah started walking at 10 months. I am sure to keep up with big brother. He is definitely on the go now. He is so mischievous. He will take something he knows he is not suppose to touch or grab something Trey is playing with and run off as fast as he can with this look of accomplishment.
He loves and I repeat loves to play basketball. His basketball is the first thing he grabs when he gets up in the morning. He loves to grunt and yell when he makes a basket. It is pretty cute.
Noah's new thing he enjoys doing is dancing. Especially alongside his brother. They both like playing the dancing game we have on the Xbox kinnect. I will have to post a video later.
Noah of course wants to join in any activity Trey is doing. He definitely stands his ground against Mr. Trey. I feel like a referee more than a mom these days.
Noah has become quite the daddy's boy these days. As soon as Curtis gets home from work Noah follows him everywhere. Curtis's little mini me :)

I seriously start to get teary every time I think about Noah turning one. Or sometimes I will all the sudden see him zooming by and I will flashback to when he was so little sleeping in his swing. I feel like I have blinked and he is this little toddler now. He is growing up way too fast for his mommy and daddy.
Noah adds so much spunk, daily excitement and tremendous exhaustion to our days. He is a perfect match for our family. We love him to pieces and so thankful for this little rascal.
