A couple weeks ago it was a beautiful sunny day in Pullman so we had a play date with Trey's buddies Miss Gwen and Jack at Sunnyside Park near our home. They are the sweetest little brother and sister. They are expecting a new baby sister this July. I have had a great time getting to know their mommy Amber.
Here are some pictures from our time at the park...

It was such a fun day at the park with the Sayre family. Looking forward to more play dates this summer.
We had another sunny day in Pullman today so I decided to wash our Jeep after every bug hit our windshield from our trip to Ritzville the other day. Mommy intuition said wait to do it once busy little man goes down for a nap but I chose not to listen to that. And boy did I pay for that...
Trey had bubbles and water from head to toe. After I got one side done he would take his soapy little hands over the part I had just finished.
So months ago a friend told me about this casting call a children's shoe company was having in Spokane. So I took little Trey just for fun and he got booked for the photo shoot.
They are an adorable shoe company based out of Seattle called See Kai Run.
LOVE LOVE LOVE their shoes for the little ones.
Good thing I don't have a little girl. I would go crazy:)
So yesterday Trey had his first photo shoot in the small little town of Ritzville. Our dear friend Connie was able to make the drive with us to give me a second hand which was great.
Trey took pictures by himself in front of this really old brick building. It was an awesome background. There was a lot of people on set doing different jobs and quite intimidating for a 2 year old. So of course tears started to fall and I am thinking OK this isn't going to go well.
But Trey is obsessed with Beyonce's Single Ladies song. He saw this video awhile back that shows different clips of kids dancing to this song and he is literally hooked. He is always walking around the house singing "Oh Oh Oh Oh" and loves dancing to it.
So Connie played the video on her phone and one of the guys on set happened to have a set of small speakers and Trey instantly started busting out his moves. It was hilarious. We all couldn't get enough. Needless to say the photographer got plenty of great shots.
I wish I had pictures to share but we weren't allowed to have cameras at the shoot because the shoes haven't come out yet. So unfortunately we won't get to see the photos for awhile. But once his pictures are posted on their website and catalog I will let you know.
So in honor of the little man's favorite song....Enjoy:)
My best friend Cat was able to join us in Chelan for one day. It was so good to see her as usual. She was able to meet the Bone Family for the first time.
This past weekend we went as a family to Lake Chelan. Curtis and Coach Bone went to a coaches clinic/retreat out there so we decided to join them. I have never been there before but have always heard what a fun family vacation spot it is. We unfortunately didn't luck out with the weather. It rained the majority of our stay which was a bummer.
But we were fortunate to stay at a place that was perfect. Here are some pictures of the place....
What the hotel looks like when it's nice....
The place was so spacious.
We were hoping it was nice so we could have enjoyed the amazing pool area.
We are looking forward to going back sometime this summer and really getting to experience the real sunny Lake Chelan everybody loves. But it was still nice to get away as a family.
I am married to my soulmate and full time mommy to our busy little boys Trey and Noah. We started this blog in hopes that our family and friends will follow along on our crazy life journey with us.
