This past weekend was Dad's Weekend at WSU. Both of my parents were suppose to make the trip over but my dad wasn't feeling well so he stayed back in Tacoma. My mom still decided to come and hang out with us and Jay for the weekend.
She and Jay went to the football game and then headed to a comedy show with Tim Allen as the guest over the weekend. They had a great time. I know my mom misses Jay so spending time with her "little boy" was just what she needed.
Trey was ecstatic to have his Grammie around. He had fun showing her all the new things he loves to do these days. Trey caught a cold over the weekend and it was nice to have an extra set of hands since Curt was with a recruit all weekend. Grammie was just what the doctor ordered.
When Trey was first born my mom was able to stay for 3 weeks down in Portland to help us out. She was such a big support and played a huge role in my transition to motherhood. I can't believe its almost been 2 years since that special time.
Of course her visit went by too fast and we were sad to see her leave. We love and appreciate her so much!!!
