Mesmerized

Well I got my first taste of what it is like living with all boys. While we were in Spokane I was getting ready in the bathroom and the boys were in the other room hanging out. I walk out and find ALL 3 boy's eyes literally glued to the TV. There was a VH1 special showing all of Beyonce's videos.

Yes even my sweet little 3 month old was mesmerized by Miss Beyonce. He was even crying and as soon as this came on...silence.

All I could do was giggle. At least they have good taste right??

I Can Already See It

Here is the video I did of our 2 little munchkins. Click on the link below to see....

Lately I have noticed Trey randomly interacting with Noah quite a bit more. He pretty much does his own thing and doesn't give his little brother the time of day. But those interactions that just melt a mother's heart have been happening more frequently.

Curtis and I were laughing how pretty soon when Noah starts moving how he will really rock his big brother's world. Getting into all of his toys and doing what little brother's do best, trying to keep up with their big brother. I am sure my blog posts will be quite interesting in the months to come.

Curtis and I hope that the boys will grow up and be close. Support and take care of each other and build a life long friendship. We will do everything in our power to bring up respectful, loving and intelligent young boys in this crazy world we live in.

Discovery Park

The day before we left Spokane the plan was to go to the big Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho. But after all the activity from the previous day and Noah's fussiness we decided to stay closer to the hotel. We found this adorable park a few minutes from where we were staying. It was perfect. The layout of the park was wonderful. They had all kinds of things to keep the kiddos busy. Tons of different slides, swings, music stations, a water area, a trampoline, and bridges, etc. Everything was too cute for words.

It was such a warm beautiful and sunny day. Trey had a great time. And then Trey really thought we were the coolest parents because we ended the afternoon before nap time with a trip to Toy R US. This was Trey's first time.

I don't know who was more excited, Trey or us. I think Trey had a great time on our little adventure away from Pullman. He keeps asking if we can go stay in a hotel again.

Here is the video of our time at the park.... (click on the link below)

Adventure At Triple Play

Boy it has taken some time for me to get situated back into our normal routine. But anyways, I found this fun family place online, Triple Play. I was originally looking up the big Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho and happened to run across this place. The facility had bowling, indoor and outdoor miniature golf, go karts, laser tag, bumper boats, an arcade, climbing wall, play structure for the younger kiddos, and indoor water park. Here are some pictures from the facility.

It was a fun packed day for Mr. Trey. We started out with bowling. This was Trey's second time (blog post to come for his first experience) and he was super excited to bowl again. The first time we went bowling in Pullman they had these metal bumpers that would pop up when it was Trey's turn to bowl to prevent those lovely gutter balls from happening. They also had cool racks that Trey could put his ball on and push it down to make the ball roll faster. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius.

Trey patiently waiting for his ball.

Mommy never got the chance to bowl because our friend Noah was super fussy. He didn't know if he wanted to sleep or eat. So the two of us headed to the car for a little bit. During our break the little guy decided it would be the perfect time to poop up his back. At this point I was ready to turn around and go back to the hotel. But of course I couldn't disappoint big brother Trey.

The weather was terrible that day so we couldn't enjoy any of the outside activities. But there was plenty to do inside. Noah finally fell asleep and I met up with the boys in the arcade.

Trey was awesome at shooting hoops.

I used to love this game.

Trey was in heaven.

Then we headed to the water park. I have to say it was quite impressive.

There was this huge water bucket that would dump huge amounts of water down.

There was a kids area for Trey to hang out. Some of the slides were quite intimidating for him. Curtis and I said one more year and he would  be good to go. So Trey pretty much stuck to one slide. But it didn't matter. He was totally content.

Our little guy stayed asleep for majority of the indoor water park time.

Love his face here.

It was fun filled day and Mr. Trey was very sad to leave. Well worth the trip though.

Family Getaway

Well Curtis whas finally able to take some time off of work. So this past weekend we were able to get away for about 4 days. Our original plan was to visit our old stomping grounds in Portland but after a difficult week with our little friend Noah the 7hr drive was too intimidating for Curtis and I. So we found some fun activities for the family (especially Trey) closer to home.

We ended up staying in Spokane Valley. It was close enough to activities in Idaho (blog post to follow) and shopping, etc. in Spokane. Boy traveling as a family of 4 with 2 little ones was quite the experience for Curtis and I. To begin with I felt like we packed the whole house. Between Trey's tube feeding supplies and Noah's must haves we looked like we were moving in.

Trey and Noah getting comfortable in our new surroundings.

Traveling with a 3 month old and 3 year old I have to say was exhausting. Curtis and the team are getting the opportunity to go to Australia this summer to play various teams over there. Of course we entertained the idea of the boys and I going but after this trip of only being 1 1/2 away we knew that idea was totally out of the question.

Noah wasn't the happiest camper on this trip....

Ummm pick me up mom....

Yes the trip was LOTS of work but I have to say it was nice to get away from our normal daily routine in Pullman. Many memories that Curtis and I will be able to laugh about later for sure.

Love these boys to pieces.
More vacation pictures to come....
