Snow And More Snow

Well like everyone else in Washington Pullman got its share of snow this past week. I was laughing this week with Curtis because right before the snow hit I had just said a few days earlier that we really hadn't had that bad of a winter.

Trey and I ventured out a few times. Here are some pics of the little guy and his BFF Lily.

Our deck...

Trey not so sure if he can even move...

Lily is probably the biggest fan of the snow out of everyone.

She would literally stay outside all day if I let her.

Our sweet next door neighbor saw me trying to shovel snow and not make any progress so he can over with ATV and went to work. I was beyond appreciative. He did this several days for us.

Trey loved playing in the snow and was totally content.

The piles of snow were so high he somehow made a slide and kept going down on his back.

Our snow still hasn't melted but it is much more manageable to get around. Hope everyone stayed nice and warm during this crazy winter blast.

Our Little Family Christmas

This Christmas was extra special this year. One we were home after such a long trip and finally together as a family after too long also. This was the first Christmas Curtis and I have ever celebrated alone. Of course we missed the presence of our extended family but it was nice for the 3 of us to reconnect in the comfort of our own home.

Here are some pics from our morning...

Trey exerting some energy with his new trampoline.

Trey loves music and got quite a few presents to display his musical talent. I LOVE this picture of the boys singing together.

It was a wonderful day. We opened presents, had a yummy breakfast and RELAXED all day. I couldn't have been a happier girl with my 2 boys.

Celebrating at Grandma Karen's

Curtis came into town with the team around Dec 21st. The Cougs played a game at the Key Arena on the 22nd. Trey and I stayed up in Tacoma an extra week after Children's so we could drive back to Pullman as a family. And so Curtis could have a little time to spend with his family too. He didn't have much time because the team had practice the day after Christmas. And we didn't want to be driving on Christmas so we headed back Christmas Eve Day.

We were able to celebrate Curtis's 30th birthday (Dec. 23rd) with his family and an early Christmas with them. Curtis's mom treated us to a wonderful and delicious homemade dinner.

Here are a few pics from the evening....

We got to spend time with Curtis's family during our long stay but I feel bad Curtis's stay couldn't have been longer.

Decorating The Tree With Ma

You will have to excuse the timeline of these next posts. They are all catch up from last month....

Trey had fun decorating my parent's tree with his special "Ma".

Still Not A Fan

We decided to visit Santa before we headed back to Pullman. It was a special treat because Curtis was able to go with us this year. The last 2 years unfortunately he has been out of town.

Trey had his Uncle Victor to go with him again this year. Here are some pictures before we left....

Getting pumped to see the man in the red suit.

How do you ever resist this face??

The last 2 years haven't gone well for Trey when visiting Santa.

We thought this year might be different because he is understanding things so much more. We talked about Santa and he looked at all my old pictures visiting him throughout my childhood years. He was super excited and couldn't stop talking about him the whole way there. He was totally fine while Uncle Victor had his turn.

But as soon as it was his turn the tears started flowing. Poor little guy just still isn't sure about Santa...

Maybe next year will be different since he will have a little brother to be brave for.

He was quite content and happy with his candy cane afterwards.

Birthday Celebration

Well we originally had a birthday celebration planned for Trey at my parents house after therapy was finished at Children's. But Trey was still not feeling 100% so we decided to cancel the party. We ended up having a tiny low-key celebration a few days later to still celebrate.

My grandparents and cousin Mari and her husband Simon were able to join us for the a light lunch and presents. Trey was so happy to seem them.

Trey was anxious to show off some of his new eating skills.

Trey understood the whole concept of opening presents of course but once he opened one present he was so excited he didn't want to move onto the next. Silly little guy.

Uncle Jay was a big help putting all his new toys together.

Again this year we had a special cake made by one of my mom's former parents who is pastry chef. He made a yummy and adorable cake that was free of all Trey's allergies.

So cute!!!

Gotta represent our Cougs.

Trey absolutely loved being sung to this year.

Make a wish.

After we were done he said "Aren't you going to sing again?" So there was one more encore performance by the family.

I can't believe our little boy is 3 years old. I seriously don't know where the time has gone. Trey is growing into such a fun little adventurous boy. He amazes me by all the new things he says and does these days. He keeps us on our toes everyday. It seems like the cuddly and snuggle time seems to get less and less these days. But he will always be my little baby.
