Sledding Buddies!!!

Instead of going to the music time at the library yesterday Trey ended up going sledding with his buddy Shay. Colleen and I took them to a cute little park in town. They loved it and the mom's definitely got a workout in.


Another big hit was the swings. They both couldn't stop smiling.

The kids had an amazing morning. Unfortunately it ended in tears for Trey because he was so sad to leave. But hopefully the snow will stick around for a few more days.

Goodbye Snookie :(

Well how about that??? Right after I post about our new friends, Snookie has gone to fish heaven.

I knew Trey probably wouldn't understand but I talked about how Snookie enjoyed her time at our house and had to go to heaven. I didn't know if he would be upset or freaked out to watch her make the trip to the toilet but he willingly wanted to help.

He stood by the toilet and said "Bye Ookie". And when Snookie was flushed to fish heaven he proceeded to clap and cheer "Yeah"!!! :) Oh my goodness is all I can say.

The Allen Family Has Expanded!!!

Did you think I was pregnant??? No silly:) Trey got fish this past weekend while my cousin Mari was in town. After church on Sunday we all headed to the store to pick up a few things and somehow we walked out with 2 fish.

Trey loves to help feed or read his books by them. And we always say "goodnight fish" before he goes to take a nap or bedtime. It's pretty cute.

February Snow:)

We woke up to lots of snow this morning. I think we are suppose to get snow the rest of the week so hopefully I can get the little man out there.

Mari Comes To Visit!!

My sweet cousin Mari came to visit us this past weekend. We had so much fun during her visit. Trey was like her little shadow all weekend. Mari is so wonderful with children and Trey absolutely adores her.

Mari came to Pullman last year around this same time and got to see the UW/WSU game and we lost so we were hoping she wasn't a jinx for the game this weekend :) She got to see the Cougs battle the University of California Berkley and pull out a win.



It was an exciting game as usual. Too close for my liking.

This win puts the Cougs in fourth place in the PAC 10 standings. With the season coming to an end hopefully they can finish strong.

Trey got some hugs from his Chelsea.



That evening we took Mari and Jay and met up with the Bone family for dinner to celebrate. It was a great way to end the day.

Of course the weekend flew by and we were sad to see Mari go.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FAMILY & FRIENDS!!!!

Happy Birthday Tyler!!!

This past week Trey went to his buddy Tyler's 3rd birthday party. He had a blast!!


The party theme was based on the book "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie".

Such a cute story and one of Tyler's favorite. His parents did such a great job entertaining the kiddos and the parents.

Then Megan painted little mouse noses and whiskers on the kiddos. They all looked so adorable.

Then the kids were able to decorate cookies. Trey skipped this event due to his allergies.



It was a huge hit. I got to hold the birthday boy's little brother Dallin during these festivities.

Then it was time to blow out the birthday candles on Tyler's huge cookie.
