Playdate With Cousins:)

A couple weeks before we moved my cousin Sarah and her little boys Reagan and Campbell were visiting from Washington DC. Sarah was visiting her side of the family in Spokane so we decided to meet up with them after Trey's feeding therapy.

We got to meet the newest addition little Campbell for the first time. So adorable and the most content baby ever.

Trey had a great time playing with Reagan and all the toys they had there. We wish they lived closer!!!

Our Little Sunshine

This past weekend we had some amazing warm weather here in Pullman. Trey loved being outside and playing in his new backyard.

Curtis and I got him this fun pool to use for the summer.

Can you tell who picked this out??

We didn't get everything assembled because it took forever to blow all the pieces up with our small air pump. I got fired from the job at one point when we realized I was deflating the air out of the pool instead of inflating it. Leave it to me:) But once we got the main pieces blown up Trey had a great time. He could of played in the water for hours if we let him.

You might see in some of the pictures Trey's g-tube. As I was watching Trey splash in the pool I was thinking oh my goodness if we still had the NG tube taped to his face how difficult these fun summer activities would be. That is one more reason we are so happy with our decision to place the feeding tube.

As far as a Trey feeding update: Trey is gaining weight wonderfully. He has finally made it to the 10% for weight, 20% for height and 65% for that head of his. Huge change from being like negative 0% for weight. So placing the g-tube has been successful as far as Trey tolerating his tube feedings.

Eating for Trey has decreased greatly in the last couple of weeks. I think and I am hoping that it has been the change with moving and the fact that the poor little guy is working on 6 teeth coming in at once. OUCH!!! I probably wouldn't want to eat either. So we keep trying and working with the little man.

I can't believe our little boy is 18 months already. Time is going by so fast but we are loving every moment of it:)

Can we say Ace Ventura??

We Love the Sun!!!

Right before we left Tacoma the sun finally decided to show its face. We were lucky to have Mr. Victor spend the day with us.

Trey was busy pushing his Chicco train all around the backyard.

Victor is quite the little hoop star. He could shoot baskets for hours.
Following in his brother's footsteps maybe?

As the day went on it started to warm up quite a bit. I gave Trey a couple of bowls of water to play with. The little man thought he was in the bathtub and proceeded to dump them over his head. Which then led to the following pictures...

The boys had an absolute blast with the water. We can't wait for more warm weather to head this way:)

Fun In Tacoma!!!

While we were up in Tacoma for Curtis's Hall of Fame event we also celebrated Curtis's little brother Victor's birthday. We met up with my best friend Cat and her cousin's daughter Caitlyn, who was also celebrating a birthday that weekend.

We took the kids to a bowling alley which had an arcade and putt putt golf. The kids played in the arcade and had great time.

Victor chose to play putt putt golf as one of the activities. As Cat said perfectly note to self don't take children under the age of six putt putt golfing. It was quite the experience. We all thought we will play golf and this will great. Not the case at all!!! Trey kept picking up every one's golf balls and had to hold every one's putter. I still don't know what we adults were thinking.

Even though running around after 3 children was overwhelming and exhausting for us adults we had a great time. I think the birthday kids enjoyed themselves too.

Can we say the future Curtis and Alissa???

Our Hall of Famer!!!

Several days after we moved in we had to stop our unpacking and head up to Tacoma because Curtis was being inducted into the Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame for his outstanding athletic achievements during his high school and college years.

The events was great. We were joined by both of our immediate families and close family friends. We were all so proud of Curtis. He got to give a brief speech to a sold out crowd. He was also nicely honored in part of the guest speaker's speech given by Lorenzo Romar his former coach at the University of Washington.

It was a memorable night for our family. So proud of you Curtis!!!!

Officially Moved In.....

I have been meaning to update our blog for weeks but we have been SO busy.

We made the official move to our first home Memorial Day weekend. We were fortunate to have Curtis's brother Karvell and my parents and brother Jay volunteer their time to help us move over the holiday weekend. But we were kindly informed next time we move we will have professional movers assist us. It was a long weekend and we were all totally exhausted by the time we were done.

We are still unpacking and getting settled in but it's amazing how fast our new place already feels like home.
